This pendant was created from the top of a blue Pepsi bottle cap recovered from the shoreline of Sanibel Island, Florida. Prolonged exposure to saltwater and sun left a natural white mineral patina across the surface, softening the plastic and recording its time in the marine environment.
An oversized stainless steel bail was chosen to balance the scale of the piece and emphasize its bold, sculptural presence.
The reverse features the inlaid Driftstone logo, marking its transformation from discarded plastic into a finished artifact. This piece is one of a kind and finished entirely by hand.
