Tide Ring was formed from marine plastics washed ashore on Sanibel Island, Florida. The piece brings together multiple reclaimed materials, including blue plastic, yellow marine fragments, and blue fishing line, sealed together into a single circular form.
The materials were shaped into a smooth ring, carefully weighted for a solid feel, and rounded by hand to soften all edges. A high-quality resin finish preserves the suspended details and surface character while giving the piece clarity and durability.
