This large pendant was created from multiple fragments of plastic recovered along the shoreline of Sanibel Island, Florida. The piece brings together a range of vibrant colors shaped by sun and salt, forming a layered coastal composite.
Natural growth that developed on the plastic while it was in the marine environment was intentionally left intact and preserved within the piece.
The pendant was shaped, refined, and sealed in resin to stabilize the materials while maintaining clarity and surface detail. The result is a solid, finished piece that retains both color intensity and environmental texture.
The reverse features the inlaid Driftstone logo. This piece is one of a kind and finished entirely by hand.
