This teardrop-shaped pendant was made from reclaimed plastics recovered from the beaches of Sanibel Island, Florida. The materials were collected washed ashore and still retain traces of their time in the ocean, including small barnacles preserved in place within the piece.
The layered blues, greens, and pale tones reflect the original plastic fragments and their weathering, sealed and polished to create a smooth surface while keeping the embedded textures visible.
